  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Start by trimming any excess fat from the sirloin, then cut the beef into uniform bite-sized pieces. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and sesame oil to create the honey garlic sauce.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites in a single layer and sear undisturbed for 2-3 minutes, then flip and cook for another 2 minutes until browned but juicy.
  • Lower heat to medium, pour the honey garlic sauce over the steak bites, and toss to coat. Cook for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens into a sticky glaze.
  • Serve the steak bites over a generous scoop of warm cooked rice and garnish with chopped green onions.
