Ingredients

  • 6 fillets tilapia 6 oz each
  • 3 cloves garlic crushed
  • 3 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley
  • kosher salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 large lemon cut into wedges

Instructions

  • Set your oven to broil and allow it to preheat for about 5-10 minutes to ensure even cooking and a beautiful crust.
  • Line your baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup or grease it lightly with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  • In a small bowl, combine the crushed garlic, olive oil, dried oregano, fresh parsley, and a pinch of kosher salt and black pepper. Mix well.
  • Place the tilapia fillets on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart for even cooking.
  • Generously spoon the garlic mixture over each fillet, adding extra salt and pepper if desired.
  • Broil the tilapia for about 4-5 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Watch closely to avoid burning.
  • Remove from oven and serve hot with lemon wedges. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fish for added flavor.
