Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups milk of choice or nondairy creamer Choose almond milk, oat milk, or any other variety you enjoy
  • 3/4 cup silken tofu adds creaminess and protein
  • 1/4 tsp salt just a pinch to enhance sweetness and flavor
  • 3/4 tsp pure vanilla extract or 1 vanilla bean for signature vanilla flavor
  • 3-4 tbsp sweetener of choice maple syrup, agave, or stevia, adjust to taste

Instructions

  • Gather all ingredients and equipment before starting to make the blending process smooth and easy.
  • In your blender, combine the milk of your choice, silken tofu, salt, and vanilla extract (or vanilla bean).
  • Add your preferred sweetener to the blender. Start with 3 tablespoons, and taste before adding more if desired.
  • Blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  • Serve immediately for a thicker frosty, or chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes for a milkshake-like texture. Pour into glasses and enjoy!

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring Cups
  • Spatula
  • Serving Glasses

Notes

  • Use oat milk or coconut milk for a nut-free version.
  • Substitute half the milk with extra silken tofu for a creamier frosty.
  • Try adding frozen fruit like bananas or berries for a thicker, colder frosty.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days; stir or blend again before serving.
  • Vanilla bean seeds add extra flavor if vanilla extract is not available.
