Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground turkey
  • 1/8 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 egg lightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt with parsley flakes
  • 1/4 cup ground black pepper

Instructions

  • In a large bowl combine the ground turkey, seasoned bread crumbs, beaten egg, chopped parsley, minced garlic, soy sauce, garlic salt, and ground black pepper.
  • Mix gently with your hands or a spoon until ingredients are evenly distributed; avoid overworking the meat.
  • Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and press each into a roughly 6-inch round patty, making a slight indent in the center of each patty with the back of a spoon.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-low heat and cook the patties 3–5 minutes per side, flipping once, until an instant-read thermometer registers 165°F in the center.
  • Transfer cooked patties to a plate and let rest briefly before serving.

Equipment

  • Large Bowl
  • Skillet or frying pan
  • Spatula
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons

Notes

  • Do not overmix the meat to keep burgers tender.
  • Make a center indent to prevent doming while cooking.
  • Cook until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
