Mix gently with your hands or a spoon until ingredients are evenly distributed; avoid overworking the meat.
Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and press each into a roughly 6-inch round patty, making a slight indent in the center of each patty with the back of a spoon.
Heat a skillet over medium-low heat and cook the patties 3–5 minutes per side, flipping once, until an instant-read thermometer registers 165°F in the center.
Transfer cooked patties to a plate and let rest briefly before serving.
