Ingredients

  • 4 hot dog buns
  • 4 turkey franks
  • 1 cup summer squash diced
  • 1 cup zucchini diced

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seed

Instructions

Prepare the Pickle Relish

  • Combine diced summer squash, zucchini, and finely chopped red onion in a medium bowl.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together apple cider vinegar, sugar, Dijon mustard, mustard seeds, salt, and pepper until sugar dissolves.
  • Pour dressing over vegetables and toss to coat evenly. Let sit at least 30 minutes or refrigerate up to 2 hours to pickle slightly.

Cook the Turkey Franks

  • Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium heat. Cook turkey franks for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and heated through.

Toast the Buns
