Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise Use your favorite brand, or make your own if you're feeling adventurous!
  • 4 tablespoons Sriracha sauce Adjust according to your spice preference.
  • 2 teaspoons honey or agave optional; adds a touch of sweetness to balance the heat
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice or lime juice Freshly squeezed is best for optimal flavor
  • 1 clove garlic pressed or minced; fresh garlic gives the best taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper or chili powder optional for those who like an extra kick

Instructions

  • Start by assembling all of your ingredients on the counter. This way, you won’t have to scramble for anything while mixing.
  • In a mixing bowl, add the 3/4 cup of mayonnaise. This will be the creamy base of your Sriracha Mayo.
  • Next, add 4 tablespoons of Sriracha sauce to the mayo. If you love heat, feel free to add more!
  • If you prefer a hint of sweetness, mix in 2 teaspoons of honey or agave. This will balance out the spiciness beautifully.
  • Squeeze in 1 tablespoon of lemon or lime juice. The acidity brightens the flavor of the mayo.
  • Add 1 clove of minced or pressed garlic to the bowl. The garlic will infuse your mayo with a delightful savory note.
  • If you’re feeling adventurous, stir in 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper or chili powder for an extra layer of flavor.
  • Using a whisk or fork, thoroughly mix all the ingredients until smooth and well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, adding more Sriracha or honey to reach your desired flavor.
  • For the best flavor, let your Sriracha Mayo chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld together beautifully.
