Ingredients

  • 4 fresh organic eggs
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Instructions

  • Crack the 4 fresh organic eggs into a mixing bowl. Add a pinch of sea salt. Using a whisk, beat the eggs until the yolks and whites are fully combined and slightly frothy.
  • Place your non-stick skillet over low to medium-low heat and allow it to warm up gently.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of salted butter to the warm skillet and allow it to melt slowly, swirling the pan to coat the bottom evenly.
  • Pour the beaten eggs into the skillet and let them sit for a few moments without stirring. As edges set, gently push eggs from edges toward the center using a spatula. Stir occasionally to allow uncooked eggs to flow to edges.
  • When eggs are mostly set but still slightly runny, remove the skillet from heat to achieve a soft texture.
  • Transfer the soft scrambled eggs to a plate and serve immediately, optionally with toast, avocado, or fresh herbs.

Equipment

  • Non-stick Skillet
  • Whisk
  • Spatula
  • Mixing Bowl

Notes

  • Use low heat to avoid rubbery eggs and ensure creaminess.
  • Remove eggs from heat while still slightly runny; they will finish cooking off the stove.
  • Whisk eggs well before cooking to incorporate air for fluffiness.
  • Customize with fresh herbs, cheese, or seasonal vegetables for added flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheat gently.
