  • 4 ounces diced pimentos jarred and drained
  • 1 small jalapeño pepper seeded and minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • to taste Kosher or sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

Step 1: Prep Your Ingredients

  • Shred the reduced-fat cheddar cheese if not pre-shredded. Dice the green onion finely and mince the garlic clove. Drain the jarred diced pimentos thoroughly. Seed and mince the jalapeño pepper.

Step 2: Combine the Creamy Base

  • In a medium mixing bowl, add the fat-free cream cheese and plain fat-free Greek yogurt. Mix together until smooth and creamy.

  • Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese, diced green onion, minced garlic, diced pimentos, and minced jalapeño. Stir gently to combine evenly.

Step 4: Season to Perfection

  • Sprinkle in the black pepper, cayenne pepper, and salt to taste. Mix again, tasting and adjusting seasoning as needed.

Step 5: Chill and Serve
