Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados soft to the touch
  • 1 large Roma tomato diced
  • 1/3 cup red onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup cilantro chopped, packed
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper adjust to taste
  • 1/2 lime juice of, freshly squeezed
  • sea salt and cracked pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Start by cutting the avocados in half and removing the pits. Use a spoon to scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl. Using a fork or potato masher, mash the avocados to your preferred texture—smooth or chunky.
  • Add the diced Roma tomatoes, finely chopped red onion, and packed cilantro to the mashed avocados. Mix until the colors come together beautifully.
  • Add the minced garlic, crushed red pepper, and the juice of half a lime. Season with sea salt and cracked pepper to taste. Mix gently until well incorporated.
  • Taste the guacamole and adjust seasoning if necessary, adding more lime juice or salt as desired.
  • Transfer your guacamole to a serving bowl and enjoy with tortilla chips, fresh veggies, or as a topping for tacos, burritos, or salads.
