Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp light corn syrup
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 12 oz graham crackers broken into small pieces
  • 3/4 cup miniature marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup chopped almonds optional
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate chips optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line your 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper, allowing some overhang on the sides for easy removal later.
  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the unsalted butter and bittersweet chocolate chips. Stir often until both are completely melted and smooth. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  • To your melted chocolate and butter mixture, add the granulated sugar, light corn syrup, and unsweetened cocoa powder. Mix until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, break the graham crackers into small pieces. Add them to the chocolate mixture, along with the miniature marshmallows, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and optional chopped almonds and white chocolate chips. Fold everything together until well coated.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan, using your spatula to spread it evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are set, and the center is still slightly soft.
  • Once baked, remove the pan from the oven and let it cool completely in the pan. Once cool, use the parchment overhang to lift the bars out of the pan. Cut into squares and serve!

  • Medium Saucepan
  • Mixing Bowl

Notes

  • Store bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week to maintain freshness.
  • Freeze tightly wrapped bars for up to three months for longer storage.
  • Optional ingredients like chopped almonds and white chocolate chips can be added or omitted to customize texture and flavor.
  • Be careful not to overbake; bars should be set on the edges but soft in the center.
  • Allow bars to cool completely before cutting to prevent crumbling.
