Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup salted butter
  • 10 ounce marshmallows
  • 0.75 cup Peter Pan Simply Ground peanut butter creamy
  • 12 cups plain popcorn
  • 0.5 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy removal of the bars.
  • In a large pot over medium-low heat, melt the salted butter. Add the marshmallows and stir continuously until fully melted and smooth.
  • Remove the pot from heat and stir in the peanut butter until the mixture is creamy and glossy.
  • Place the plain popcorn in a large bowl. Pour the marshmallow and peanut butter mixture over the popcorn and gently fold to coat evenly.
  • Transfer the coated popcorn mixture into the prepared baking dish and press down firmly with greased hands or a spatula to form an even layer.
  • Sprinkle the semisweet chocolate chips on top while the mixture is still warm and gently press them in.
  • Let the bars cool completely at room temperature or refrigerate for about 30 minutes to set.
  • Once set, lift the bars out using the parchment paper and cut into squares or rectangles. Serve and enjoy!
