Ingredients

  • 1 cup cold brewed coffee smooth and refreshing base
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk or any milk of your choice
  • 1 large frozen banana provides natural sweetness and creamy texture
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter rich in flavor and healthy fats
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder enhances chocolate flavor
  • 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt adds creaminess and tang
  • 2-3 teaspoons maple syrup or sweetener of your choice
  • 1-2 handfuls ice helps thicken and keep refreshing

Instructions

  • Start by preparing your cold brewed coffee. If you don’t have any ready, brew coffee and let it cool completely before using it in the smoothie.
  • Gather all your ingredients on the countertop for easy access.
  • In your blender, add the cold brewed coffee, unsweetened vanilla almond milk, frozen banana, peanut butter, cocoa powder, vanilla yogurt, maple syrup, and ice.
  • Blend on high until all the ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth and creamy. Add more almond milk if too thick.
  • Taste your smoothie and adjust sweetness by adding more maple syrup if desired. Blend again to combine.
  • Pour your Peanut Butter Coffee Smoothie into a glass or mason jar. Optionally top with a sprinkle of cocoa powder or drizzle of peanut butter.

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons
  • Glass or mason jar

Notes

  • Use frozen banana to achieve a creamy, thick texture.
  • Replace peanut butter with sunflower seed butter for a nut-free version.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
