Ingredients

  • 1 loaf crusty country-style French bread
  • 1 1/4 sticks salted butter melted
  • 5 cloves garlic pureed or very finely chopped
  • 5 tablespoons Parmesan cheese bottled
  • 1 teaspoon parsley leaves finely chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to get a perfect crispy texture.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the melted salted butter, pureed garlic, and chopped parsley. Stir until well mixed to create a flavorful garlic butter blend.
  • Using a sharp knife, carefully slice the loaf of French bread in half lengthwise to allow the garlic butter to soak in.
  • Using a pastry brush, generously apply the garlic butter mixture to the cut sides of the bread, covering every inch for maximum flavor.
  • Sprinkle the bottled Parmesan cheese evenly over the buttered surface of the bread.
  • Place the prepared bread halves on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the cheese is melty.
  • Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool slightly. Slice into individual pieces and serve warm.
