  • 4 fresh strawberries sliced
  • 1 kiwi fruit diced
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup for a vegan option
  • 2 tsp chia seeds
  • 2 tsp flax seeds
  • walnuts some, optional, for added crunch

OATMEAL WITH BERRIES Cooking Guide

  • In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of extra thick rolled oats with 2 cups of water or milk (dairy or plant-based). Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally until thick and creamy.
  • While the oats are cooking, wash and prepare your fresh berries. Slice the strawberries, dice the kiwi, and rinse the blueberries.
  • Once the oats are cooked, remove from heat. Stir in 1 tablespoon of honey, 2 teaspoons of chia seeds, and 2 teaspoons of flax seeds. Mix well.
  • Spoon the oatmeal into a serving bowl. Top with fresh blueberries, sliced strawberries, diced kiwi, and optionally sprinkle walnuts on top.
  • Enjoy your oatmeal with berries, savoring the delightful combination of flavors and textures!
