Ninja Foodi Chicken Tenders

Juicy, marinated chicken tenders cooked quickly in the Ninja Foodi for a simple weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 chicken breasts cut into 1" strips
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a large bowl combine 1/4 cup lemon juice, 1/3 cup olive oil, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, 2 teaspoons dried oregano, 1 teaspoon ground coriander, 1 teaspoon ground cumin, and 3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg; mix until combined.
  • Add the chicken breast strips to the marinade and toss or spoon to coat all pieces evenly.
  • Cover and refrigerate to marinate for 20 minutes.
  • Preheat the Ninja Foodi air crisp basket at 360°F (182°C) for 5 minutes.
  • Place a single layer of the 1-inch chicken strips into the preheated basket without overcrowding; season with salt and pepper.
  • Air crisp at 360°F for 5 minutes, flip the strips, then cook another 5 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F and the outside is golden.
  • Remove the chicken from the Foodi and serve immediately.
  • Work in batches if needed so the chicken fits in a single layer in the basket.

Notes

  • If breasts are thick, add 1 minute per side when cooking.
  • Pound larger pieces to an even thickness for uniform cooking.

  • Try different seasonings to vary the flavor.
