Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup coconut flour gluten-free, low carb
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder leavening agent
  • 12 large egg whites or cartoned egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon spices of choice salt, pepper, or herbs

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure even cooking.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the coconut flour and baking powder.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until frothy.
  • Gradually fold the frothy egg whites into the dry mixture. Add your spices of choice and mix until you achieve a smooth batter.
  • Line your baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour the batter onto the sheet and use a spatula to spread it into a thin, even layer.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center is firm to the touch.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
