Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
  • 1 tsp finely ground sea salt

Instructions

  • Set your Instant Pot to the “Sauté” function and allow it to heat up for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of coconut oil to the pot and swirl it around to coat the bottom evenly.
  • Add 3-4 popcorn kernels to the pot and cover it with the lid. When you hear the kernels pop, the oil is hot and ready.
  • Remove the test kernels, then add 1/2 cup of popcorn kernels to the pot. Stir quickly with a wooden spoon to coat them in the coconut oil.
  • Secure the lid on the Instant Pot, ensure the valve is set to “Sealing,” then switch to “Manual” or “Pressure Cook” on high for 3 minutes.
  • Carefully release the pressure by switching the valve to “Venting.” Once the steam is fully released, remove the lid.
  • Pour the popcorn into a large bowl, sprinkle with finely ground sea salt, toss to combine, and enjoy!
