Ingredients

  • 4 small corn tortillas fresh and pliable
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure even baking and crispiness.
  • Stack the four small corn tortillas on a cutting board. Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, slice them into even strips about 1/2 inch wide.
  • Place the tortilla strips in a mixing bowl and toss with 1 tablespoon of olive oil until evenly coated.
  • Add a pinch of salt and toss again to distribute the seasoning throughout the strips.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup. Spread the tortilla strips in a single layer, ensuring they are not overlapping.
