Instructions

Hot and Sweet Triple Pepper Pizza Method

  • Prepare the pizza dough according to your favorite recipe or use store-bought. Allow it to rise until doubled in size if making from scratch.
  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Place a pizza stone in the oven if using to heat.
  • Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the dough into a large circle or rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Transfer the rolled dough to a lightly oiled pizza stone or baking sheet. Brush the surface with olive oil.
  • Spread marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Sprinkle sharp provolone, fresh mozzarella, and fontina cheese evenly over the sauce.
  • Scatter sliced hot banana peppers, jalapeño peppers, and pepperazzi peppers over the cheese.
  • Sprinkle finely grated Parmigiano-Reggiano over the top.
  • Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until cheese is bubbling and crust is golden brown.
  • Remove pizza from oven and let cool for a few minutes. Slice with a pizza cutter and serve hot.
