  • 9 ounces Nutella just under 1 cup
  • 6 tablespoons Salted butter 3 ounces

Instructions

Homemade Nutella Chips for Baking

  • Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat to prevent sticking.
  • Melt the 6 tablespoons of salted butter in a mixing bowl using the microwave in short bursts or on the stovetop until completely liquid.
  • Add the 9 ounces of Nutella to the melted butter and stir until the mixture is smooth and evenly combined.
  • Pour the Nutella and butter mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly with a spatula to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  • Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours until the mixture is firm and set.
  • Remove from refrigerator and use a sharp knife to cut the mixture into small chips or chunks as desired.
  • Transfer the homemade Nutella chips to an airtight container. Store in the freezer for up to a month or use immediately in your baking recipes.
