Ingredients

  • 2 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 teaspoons yellow onion chopped
  • 6 ounces lump crab meat
  • 4 teaspoons green bell pepper finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon green onion sliced
  • 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley chopped, for garnish
  • tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). This ensures your dip will bake evenly and become beautifully bubbly.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, and softened butter. Use a spatula to blend these together until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Add in the seasoned salt and paprika, mixing well to incorporate the flavors. These ingredients will add depth to your dip and enhance the overall taste.
  • Gently fold in the chopped yellow onion, lump crab meat, diced green bell pepper, and sliced green onion. Ensure that the crab meat is evenly distributed throughout the mixture for maximum flavor in every bite.
  • Finally, fold in the shredded mozzarella cheese. This will create that ooey-gooey texture we all love in a crab dip.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread it out evenly. Place it in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the dip is bubbling.
  • Once baked, remove the dip from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color and freshness. Serve warm with crispy tortilla chips for dipping!
