Ingredients

  • 3 cups rolled oats or old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup shaved or slivered almonds
  • ½ cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • ¼ cup coconut oil
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup real maple syrup
  • ½ tsp fine sea salt

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure even baking and a perfect golden color.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, shaved almonds, unsweetened coconut flakes, and fine sea salt. Stir until evenly distributed.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the coconut oil, honey, and maple syrup until well combined. Warm the coconut oil if solid.
  • Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients. Fold together with a spatula until everything is well coated.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the granola mixture evenly and press down slightly to help it clump.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through. Bake until golden brown and fragrant, watching carefully to prevent burning.
  • Remove from oven and let cool completely on the baking sheet. Break into clusters and store in an airtight container.

Equipment

  • Large Mixing Bowl
