Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Ground Turkey lean
  • 8 oz Tomato Sauce
  • 3 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 3 tbsp Taco Seasoning for authentic taco flavor
  • Taco Shells soft tortillas or hard shells, based on preference
  • Toppings lettuce, cheese, avocado, salsa, or any of your favorite taco toppings

Instructions

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add the 1.5 lbs of ground turkey. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, breaking it up with a wooden spoon until browned and fully cooked.
  • Stir in 8 oz of tomato sauce and 3 tbsp of tomato paste. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
  • Sprinkle in 3 tbsp of taco seasoning and stir until the turkey is evenly coated. Allow to simmer for 5 minutes to let flavors meld.
  • While the turkey mixture simmers, warm taco shells according to package instructions or heat soft tortillas in a dry skillet for a few seconds each side.
  • Spoon the turkey filling into the taco shells. Top with preferred toppings such as shredded lettuce, cheese, avocado, and salsa.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy with family and friends.
