Ingredients

  • 26 ounces frozen French fries bag
  • 6 cloves garlic very finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the frozen fries package, typically around 425°F (220°C).
  • Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves while the oven heats.
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine the minced garlic with the olive oil to create a flavorful garlic oil.
  • Spread the frozen fries evenly on a large baking sheet. Bake according to package instructions, usually about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  • Once fries are golden and crispy, remove from the oven. Immediately drizzle the garlic oil over the hot fries and sprinkle with kosher salt. Toss fries using a spatula or tongs until evenly coated.
  • Transfer the garlic fries to a serving platter and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve hot and enjoy!

Equipment

  • Large baking sheet
  • Spatula or tongs
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Sharp Knife
  • Oven mitts

Notes

  • Use fresh garlic for the best flavor instead of pre-minced garlic.
  • Add Parmesan cheese or nutritional yeast for a cheesy twist.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat in the oven to regain crispiness.
