Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread fresh
  • 1/3 cup butter softened
  • 3 cloves garlic pressed

  • 1/2 tsp dried basil

  • 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese shredded

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure even baking and a perfect crispy texture.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, pressed garlic, salt, oregano, basil, and thyme. Mix well until thoroughly combined.
  • Slice the loaf of French bread in half lengthwise to create two long pieces.
  • Using a spatula, generously spread the garlic butter mixture over the cut sides of the bread, covering every inch.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the buttered bread, then add Parmesan cheese on top for extra flavor.
  • Place the bread halves on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and the edges are golden brown.
