Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter at room temperature
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste ground black pepper
  • Italian bread for serving

Instructions

  • Make sure your butter is at room temperature so it’s easy to blend. If needed, soften it gently in the microwave for about 10 seconds.
  • Peel and finely mince 2 cloves of fresh garlic for even flavor distribution.
  • In a mixing bowl, add the softened butter and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until well combined and creamy.
  • Stir in the minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of ground black pepper. Mix until evenly incorporated.
  • Slice your Italian bread into ½-inch thick pieces. Leave the crust on or trim slightly if preferred.
  • Spread a generous layer of the Garlic Bread Spread onto each bread slice. Arrange slices on a baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and spread is bubbling.
  • Serve your garlic bread warm as an appetizer or side. Optionally, top with chopped parsley or extra Parmesan.
