Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise or plain Greek yogurt for a creamy base that can be tailored to your taste
  • 1 cup sour cream adds a tangy richness that complements the other flavors
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill the star herb that brings all the flavors together
  • 1 tablespoon dried minced onion adds a subtle sweetness and depth of flavor
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley enhances the freshness of the dip
  • ½ teaspoon seasoned salt or kosher salt to elevate and balance all the flavors

Instructions

  • Ensure you have all the necessary ingredients listed above ready and measured out.
  • In your mixing bowl, add 1 cup of either mayonnaise or Greek yogurt along with 1 cup of sour cream. This will form the creamy base of your dip.
  • Sprinkle in 1 teaspoon of dried dill, 1 tablespoon of dried minced onion, 1 tablespoon of dried parsley, and ½ teaspoon of seasoned salt.
  • Using your whisk or spoon, mix everything together until the ingredients are well incorporated and the dip is smooth and creamy.
  • Give your dip a taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary. You may want to add a pinch more salt or a bit more dill, depending on your preference.
  • For the best flavor, cover the mixing bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the dip for at least 30 minutes. This allows the flavors to meld beautifully.
  • Transfer the chilled Dill Dip to a serving dish, and it’s ready to be enjoyed with your favorite dippers.
