Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Wings

Crispy seasoned chicken drumettes cooked quickly in the air fryer for a simple weeknight or party appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken drumettes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (extra virgin)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning blend
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • kosher salt to taste
  • pinch cayenne pepper

Instructions

  • Place the chicken drumettes in a large bowl and drizzle with the olive oil; toss with tongs or your hands until evenly coated.
  • Sprinkle garlic powder, Italian seasoning, onion powder, black pepper, smoked paprika, cayenne, and kosher salt over the chicken; toss again until the drumettes are fully seasoned.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  • Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overcrowding; cook at 400°F for 20 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through. Work in batches if needed.
  • Remove the wings when crisp and cooked through; serve hot.
