Ingredients

  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 pound seedless green grapes rinsed and patted dry (about 2 to 2.5 cups)
  • 1 pound seedless red grapes rinsed and patted dry (about 2 to 2.5 cups)

Instructions

  • Start by thoroughly rinsing both the green and red seedless grapes under cold water. Pat them dry completely with a clean kitchen towel or paper towels. If the grapes are large, you can slice them in half, but whole grapes work perfectly fine and add a nice texture.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Use a hand mixer or a whisk to blend everything until smooth, creamy, and well incorporated.
  • Add the prepared grapes to the bowl with the creamy dressing. Gently fold the grapes into the mixture using a spatula or large spoon, being careful not to crush the grapes.
  • Transfer the creamy grape salad to a serving bowl or container, cover it with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. Serve cold for a refreshing treat.

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Hand Mixer

  • Serving Bowl

Notes

Make sure the cream cheese is fully softened to room temperature for a smooth dressing. Pat the grapes dry thoroughly to avoid watering down the salad. For extra crunch, sprinkle chopped walnuts or pecans before serving. You can substitute sour cream with Greek yogurt for a tangier flavor or add other fruits and nuts for variety. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
