Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Allow the cream cheese to sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to soften.
  • In a mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Using a hand mixer or a fork, blend them together until creamy and well combined.
  • Sprinkle in the garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the finely chopped chives to the mixture. Continue to mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • Taste the dip and adjust seasoning by adding more garlic powder or chives if desired.
  • Transfer the dip to a serving dish. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.
