Ingredients

  • 2 cups Enjoy Life chocolate chips dairy-free
  • 1 cup Native Forest canned coconut milk creamy and rich
  • 1/4 cup coconut palm sugar optional sweetener
  • Raw honey optional, alternatively used for sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions

Directions: Clean Eating Hot Fudge

  • Start by assembling all your ingredients on the counter. This will make the process smoother and more enjoyable!
  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, add the 2 cups of Enjoy Life chocolate chips and the 1 cup of coconut milk. Stir gently with a wooden spoon until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is well combined.
  • Once the chocolate is melted, add the 1/4 cup of coconut palm sugar and stir until it’s fully dissolved. If you prefer a sweeter hot fudge, feel free to add a drizzle of raw honey to taste!
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract. This will add a lovely depth of flavor to your fudge.
  • Allow the hot fudge to cool slightly before serving. It will thicken as it cools, making it even more decadent. Drizzle it over ice cream, pancakes, or enjoy it straight from the jar!

Equipment

  • Medium Saucepan
  • Wooden spoon or spatula
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons
  • Storage container

Notes

  • Avoid using high heat to melt the chocolate to prevent scorching; low heat is key.
  • Don’t skip the vanilla extract; it significantly enhances the flavor profile.
  • Start with less sweetener and add to taste for perfect sweetness control.
  • Store leftover hot fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • Reheat gently with a splash of coconut milk if the fudge becomes too thick.
