Ingredients

  • 2 lbs white chocolate melts or almond bark
  • 21 oz semisweet chocolate chips
  • 14 oz milk chocolate chips
  • 13 oz unsalted peanuts or dry roasted peanuts
  • 13 oz salted peanuts

Instructions

Cooking Chocolate Peanut Clusters: The Process

  • Start by measuring out all your ingredients. Make sure your peanuts are ready—if you prefer a mix of salted and unsalted, have both types set aside.
  • Using a double boiler or a microwave, melt the white chocolate melts along with the semisweet and milk chocolate chips. Heat in 30-second intervals if microwaving, stirring in between until melted and smooth.
  • Remove the melted chocolate from heat and immediately stir in all the peanuts. Mix thoroughly until peanuts are completely coated.
  • Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop clusters of the chocolate-peanut mixture onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Use about 1-2 tablespoons per cluster, leaving space between each.
  • Place the baking sheets in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, or until the clusters are set and firm.
  • Transfer your set Chocolate Peanut Clusters to an airtight container. Store at room temperature or in the fridge for extra firmness. Enjoy anytime!

Equipment

  • Double boiler
  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Rubber spatula

Notes

  • Ensure you stir the chocolate frequently while melting to prevent burning.
  • Mix peanuts well to have an even distribution in every cluster.
  • Store clusters in airtight containers to maintain freshness up to two weeks refrigerated.
  • For a vegan option, use dairy-free chocolate chips.
  • Try adding dried fruits or different nuts for variations.
