Ingredients

  • 0.02 ml pure maple syrup
  • 73.33 g light brown sugar
  • 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 109 ml vegetable oil
  • 405 g old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 360 g chocolate chips

Instructions

Chocolate Chip Granola Made Stepwise

  • Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). This ensures that your granola will bake evenly and develop that perfect crunch.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. This will prevent the granola from sticking and make cleanup a breeze.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the pure maple syrup, light brown sugar, vanilla extract, and vegetable oil. Whisk these ingredients together until they are well-combined and the sugar begins to dissolve.
  • Next, add the old-fashioned rolled oats and salt to the wet mixture. Stir everything together until the oats are fully coated with the wet ingredients.
  • Pour the granola mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Use a spatula to spread it out evenly, pressing it down slightly to help it clump together.
  • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes. Stir the granola halfway through to ensure even browning. Keep an eye on it during the last few minutes to prevent burning.
  • Once the granola is golden brown and fragrant, remove it from the oven. Allow it to cool for about 10 minutes, and then sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top. The residual heat will melt the chips slightly, making them stick to the granola.
  • After the granola has completely cooled, break it into clusters and transfer it to your storage container. Enjoy your Chocolate Chip Granola as desired!
