Ingredients

  • 12 oz chocolate chips semi-sweet or milk chocolate
  • 12 oz butterscotch chips
  • 10 oz toffee bits
  • 16 oz dry roasted peanuts

Instructions

  • Place the chocolate chips and butterscotch chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until melted and smooth (about 1-2 minutes).
  • Remove from microwave and add dry roasted peanuts and toffee bits. Stir until peanuts and toffee bits are thoroughly coated.
  • Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between clusters.
  • Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or until clusters are firm and set.
  • Remove clusters from refrigerator and serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Equipment

  • Large Mixing Bowl
  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Spoon or Spatula
  • Baking Sheet
  • Cookie scoop or tablespoon

Notes

  • Ensure your bowl is completely dry when melting chips to prevent seizing.
  • Add more peanuts and toffee bits for thicker clusters.
  • Store clusters in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks.
  • Freeze clusters for up to three months; thaw before serving.
  • Try different nuts or add sea salt for a flavor twist.
