Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken diced or shredded
  • 2 cups shredded romaine lettuce fresh and crisp
  • 0.5 cup croutons choose your favorite crunchy croutons
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese adds a salty, nutty flavor
  • 0.5 cup Caesar dressing creamy Caesar dressing, use vegetarian-friendly if desired
  • 6 flour tortilla wraps soft and pliable

Instructions

  • Make sure your chicken is cooked, diced or shredded into bite-sized pieces. Wash and dry the romaine lettuce thoroughly, then shred it into thin strips for easy wrapping. Grate the Parmesan cheese if it’s not pre-grated.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, shredded romaine lettuce, croutons, and grated Parmesan cheese. Drizzle the Caesar dressing over the mixture, then toss gently to coat everything evenly. Be careful not to overdress to keep the wrap from getting soggy.
  • Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 20 seconds on each side, or wrap them in a damp paper towel and microwave for 15 seconds. Warming makes the tortillas more flexible and easier to roll.
  • Lay a warm tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spoon about ⅙ of the chicken Caesar mixture into the center of the tortilla, slightly off-center. Fold in the sides, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top, securing all the filling inside.
  • Slice the wrap diagonally if desired, and serve immediately. These wraps are excellent on their own or paired with a side of chips, fresh fruit, or a light soup.

Equipment

  • Large Bowl
  • Skillet
  • Microwave (optional)

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken for a quick shortcut. Season the chicken with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper for extra flavor. Ensure lettuce is dry to prevent soggy wraps. Swap Caesar dressing for Greek yogurt-based version for a lighter option. Wrap tightly in parchment or foil for packing. Add avocado or cherry tomatoes for freshness. Variations include spicy, grilled chicken, vegetarian, whole wheat wraps, extra crunch, or serving as a salad bowl. Store filling in airtight container up to 3 days and assembled wraps up to 24 hours refrigerated.
