Ingredients

  • 8 cups popped popcorn unsalted, air-popped or stovetop
  • 1/2 (11-ounce) package caramels unwrapped
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips milk, dark, or semisweet
  • 1/2 cup toffee bits
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt or sea salt

Instructions

  • Start by popping 8 cups of popcorn. Remove any unpopped kernels.
  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine unwrapped caramels and 1 tablespoon milk. Stir frequently until melted and smooth. Remove from heat.
  • Pour melted caramel over popcorn in a large mixing bowl. Gently fold with a silicone spatula to coat evenly.
  • Sprinkle in toffee bits and kosher salt. Fold gently to distribute.
  • Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Avoid overheating.
  • Drizzle melted chocolate over the caramel-coated popcorn. Use a spoon or piping bag for decoration.
  • Spread popcorn on a lined baking sheet in an even layer. Allow to cool and set for at least 30 minutes. Break into clusters and serve.
