Ingredients

  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 ounces cream cheese brick, at room temperature
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup Buffalo sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup shredded cooked chicken rotisserie or cooked
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ranch or blue cheese for dipping

Instructions

Buffalo Chicken Wonton Cups

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure the wonton cups bake evenly and get crispy.
  • Brush each wonton wrapper lightly with olive oil on both sides. Place them into the cups of a muffin tin, pressing gently to form cup shapes.
  • Bake the wonton cups in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Watch carefully to avoid burning.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, Buffalo sauce, garlic powder, shredded cooked chicken, and shredded mozzarella cheese. Mix until creamy and well incorporated.
  • Once the wonton cups have baked and cooled slightly, spoon the Buffalo chicken filling generously into each cup.
  • Return the filled wonton cups to the oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes, until the filling is heated through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping. Enjoy!
