Ingredients

  • 1-2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken tenders
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter
  • 0.5 cup hot sauce recommended: Frank's Red Hot
  • Greek Yogurt Ranch Dip optional
  • Greek Yogurt Blue Cheese Dip optional

Instructions

  • Rinse the chicken tenders under cold water and pat dry with paper towels to help spices adhere better.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine chicken tenders, kosher salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well to coat evenly.
  • Heat about an inch of oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat until hot enough that a drop of water sizzles on contact.
  • Carefully place seasoned chicken tenders in hot oil without overcrowding. Fry 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Use tongs to flip and remove.
  • In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Stir in the hot sauce until fully combined. Adjust heat level as desired.
  • Transfer fried chicken tenders to a large mixing bowl. Pour buffalo sauce over tenders and toss gently to coat each piece thoroughly.
  • Arrange Buffalo Chicken Tenders on a serving platter and serve hot with Greek Yogurt Ranch Dip or Blue Cheese Dip as desired.

Equipment

  • Large Mixing Bowl
  • Frying pan or deep fryer
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons
  • Tongs
  • Paper Towels
  • Serving Platter
  • Small Saucepan

Notes

  • Use Frank's Red Hot sauce for authentic buffalo flavor, or adjust to your preferred spice level.
  • Try baking tenders at 400°F for 20 minutes as a healthier alternative to frying.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days; reheat in the oven to maintain crispiness.
