  • 1/2 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 4 ounce Dark Chocolate Bar or Milk Chocolate Bar recommend Lindt bars
  • to taste Flaky Sea Salt optional

Instructions

Directions:

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray your mini muffin tin with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  • Step 2: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the unsalted butter and dark chocolate bar. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth. Allow it to cool slightly.
  • Step 3: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, Dutch process cocoa powder, light brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  • Step 4: Add the egg to the melted chocolate mixture and stir until fully incorporated.
  • Step 5: Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  • Step 6: Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips and semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  • Step 7: Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  • Step 8: Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Step 9: Allow the brownie bites to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack to cool completely.
  • Step 10: Sprinkle with flaky sea salt if desired, and serve these delightful brownie bites to family and friends—or keep them all to yourself!
