Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon Stone House Seasoning
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the 4 tablespoons of butter and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Allow the butter to melt completely, mixing with the olive oil for a flavorful base.
  • Once the butter is melted, add the 4 ounces of softened cream cheese. Stir continuously until the cream cheese is fully incorporated and smooth.
  • Gradually pour in the 2 cups of heavy whipping cream. Stir the mixture constantly until it begins to thicken, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Add 1 teaspoon of Stone House Seasoning to the sauce. Stir well to combine.
  • Sprinkle in 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese and 1/2 cup of grated mozzarella cheese. Continue to stir until the cheeses are completely melted and the sauce is creamy and thick.
  • Remove sauce from heat and serve immediately over your favorite pasta. Enjoy while hot for best flavor and texture!

Equipment

  • Medium Saucepan
  • Wooden spoon or whisk
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons
  • Knife and cutting board

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add minced garlic or shallots when melting the butter.
  • Use freshly grated cheese for the best texture and flavor.
  • Adjust seasoning to your liking; taste as you go!
  • If sauce thickens too much, thin it out with a splash of pasta water.
  • Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month.
