  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Place a large frying pan or skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef.
  • Use a spatula or wooden spoon to break the beef into small crumbles as it begins to cook.
  • Season the beef evenly with kosher salt and ground black pepper, stirring to distribute the seasonings.
  • Continue to cook, stirring and breaking up the meat, until there is no pink remaining and the beef is fully browned.
  • Remove the pan from the heat and add your spaghetti sauce, then proceed with your sauce recipe.
