BBQ Turkey Cheddar Sliders

Easy pull-apart sliders with turkey, cheddar, and a buttery spiced topping for game day or weeknight meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 package dinner rolls (such as King's Hawaiian), 12-count slice in half, keep connected if in package
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 8 ounces sliced turkey deli meat
  • 6 ounces cheddar cheese, sliced (about 8 slices)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Slice the roll package in half horizontally, keeping rolls connected if they came that way. Place the bottom half of the roll block in the prepared pan.
  • Spread the barbecue sauce evenly over the bottom half of the rolls.
  • Layer the sliced turkey over the sauced rolls, then arrange the cheddar slices on top of the turkey.
  • Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese to reassemble the sliders.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, smoked paprika, brown sugar, kosher salt, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and chili powder until smooth.
  • Pour or brush the spiced melted butter evenly over the top of the assembled sliders.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden, about 15 minutes. Remove from oven, cut into individual sliders, and serve warm.

Notes
