Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rolled Oats (80g)
  • ½ teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

Wet Ingredients

  • ½ cup Milk of Choice (120ml)
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 medium Banana (mashed)
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or Maple Syrup (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons Chocolate Chips (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Creamy Peanut Butter (for serving, optional)

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Step 2: In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt. Stir to combine.
  • Step 3: In another bowl, mash the banana until smooth. Add the milk, egg, vanilla extract, and honey or maple syrup. Whisk until well combined.
  • Step 4: Pour the wet mixture into the dry oat mixture. Stir gently and fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Step 5: Grease a baking dish with oil or cooking spray. Pour the oat mixture into the dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Step 6: Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Step 7: Let it cool for a few minutes. Serve warm, optionally drizzled with honey or topped with peanut butter.
