Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup sriracha sauce adjust to taste

  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

Instructions

Preparation

  • Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels to ensure crispiness.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Mix well to create a seasoning blend.
  • Add the chicken wings to the bowl with the seasoning. Toss until evenly coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes or refrigerate for a few hours.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  • While wings cook, mix honey, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, and rice vinegar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir and heat for about 5 minutes until combined.
  • Transfer cooked wings to a large bowl, pour the sweet and spicy sauce over them, and toss to coat fully.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
