Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 2 minutes.
In a bowl combine 1 1/2 cup plain almonds, 1 teaspoon smoked paprika, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon white vinegar, and 1 teaspoon sesame oil; toss until the almonds are evenly coated.
Place the coated almonds in a single layer in the air fryer basket; do not overcrowd (cook in batches if needed).
Air fry at 350°F for 5 minutes.
Remove the basket, shake or stir the almonds to redistribute, then return to the air fryer and continue cooking at 350°F, checking and shaking every minute, until they are toasted to your liking (about 3–5 more minutes).
Transfer the almonds to a bowl and let them cool completely before serving.
