Ingredients

Chicken Wings

  • 1 pound frozen chicken wings (flats and drumettes)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • to taste your choice of sauce (e.g., buffalo sauce, BBQ sauce, honey garlic)
  • optional fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Step 2: Take the frozen chicken wings out of the packaging and place them in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
  • Step 3: Arrange the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  • Step 4: Cook the wings at 400°F (200°C) for 25-30 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Step 5: Check the internal temperature of the wings to ensure they reach at least 165°F (74°C). If needed, continue cooking in 2-3 minute increments.
  • Step 6: Transfer the cooked wings to a large bowl and toss with your choice of sauce until evenly coated. Optionally, return to the air fryer for an additional 3-5 minutes.
  • Step 7: Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired, and enjoy!

  • Air Fryer
  • Mixing Bowl

Notes

For extra crispy wings, sprinkle a little cornstarch on the chicken wings before seasoning. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness and avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket.
