Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter for sautéing garlic and brushing the rolls
  • 2 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning adds herbaceous depth
  • 1 tube crescent rolls 8-count, store-bought dough
  • 0.75 cup shredded mozzarella cheese melty and mild
  • 0.25 cup shredded Parmesan cheese sharp and nutty
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter for brushing the finished rolls
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley fresh, vibrant garnish

Instructions

  • Start by melting 2 tablespoons of butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Add the finely minced garlic and the dried Italian seasoning. Sauté gently for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. This blend gives you the perfect balance of meltiness and sharp flavor that complements the garlic butter beautifully.
  • Open the 8-count tube of crescent rolls and separate the dough triangles carefully. On each triangle, brush a small amount of the garlic butter mixture to infuse flavor right into the dough. Then sprinkle a generous amount of the cheese mixture over the dough, focusing on the wider end.
  • Starting from the wider end, roll each crescent dough triangle tightly toward the pointed tip, enclosing the cheese filling. This creates that classic crescent shape with a cheesy surprise inside.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3 minutes. Place the rolls in the basket, making sure they don’t touch to allow air circulation. Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese inside is melted and bubbly.
  • Once cooked, brush the rolls with 1 tablespoon of melted butter for a shiny, flavorful finish. Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top for a pop of color and freshness.

Notes

  • Store assembled but uncooked rolls in the freezer for longer storage and air fry from frozen, adding extra cook time.

  • Ensure rolls have space in the air fryer basket to cook evenly and get crispy.
