Place a medium mixing bowl on your work surface.
Add 2 cups sour cream to the bowl.
Open the taco seasoning packet and sprinkle the contents over the sour cream.
Open the ranch dip mix packet and sprinkle the contents over the sour cream.
Stir with a spoon or whisk until the seasoning mixes into the sour cream and the dip is smooth and evenly combined.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate at least 30 minutes (or until ready to serve) to allow the flavors to meld.
Serve cold with fresh cut veggies or chips.
